Role Description:

This position is within Arcadis Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will be part of a talented group of 3,000+ professionals based in India, Romania, and the Philippines, collaborating with Arcadis offices worldwide. The GEC offers essential capabilities and resources to assist our clients seamlessly across the globe. Role Accountabilities:

  • Design and execute BIM Modeling for a specific design discipline using Revit with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure the accuracy of models/drawings based on BIM standards and project workflow criteria.
  • Maintain and synchronize models/drawings daily on the cloud collaboration platform.
  • Handle CAD/BIM deliverables for multiple projects within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the Principal BIM Modeler/BIM Manager.
  • Record all exported information in the correct directory.
  • Implement Quality Control measures.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines on design and model changes.
  • Follow BIM project workflow criteria and content standards.
  • Prepare discipline models and content for BIM coordination meetings.
  • Export NWD/IFC and other formats for internal and external collaboration.
  • Work independently and within a team.
  • Develop 2D CAD/Revit drawings and 3D Models as per client specifications.
  • Coordinate with the lead business and team members on design models/drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with Arcadis' business management system.
  • Provide mentoring and training to junior staff.
  • Proficiency in Design Automation is a plus.

Required Competencies:

  • Extensive knowledge of UK/Euro codes, BIM standards, and practices related to BIM modeling and structural detailing.
  • Experience in collaborative work on a cloud CDE, ProjectWise & BIM.
  • Familiarity with BIM Level 2 processes and workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant tools.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills at all levels.
  • Adaptable to new and challenging tasks as per business needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • BE/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institute.
  • 8 to 12 years of experience.
  • Experience in BIM modeling for Rail infrastructure Projects including Road/Rail Bridges, Stations, Depots, etc.
  • In-depth technical knowledge and strong academic background.
  • Extensive 3D and 4D modeling experience.
  • Proficiency in Material handling, Rendering, Lighting, and Animation.
  • Familiarity with ISO processes.
  • Experience in international projects in the UK, US, Middle East, and Australia.
  • Expertise in preparing General Arrangement drawings, Plans, Elevations, and Section details for structures and buildings.
  • Strong, self-motivated individual capable of handling pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible and open to adopting new BIM technologies.
