Job Summary

Job Title - Cyber Security Tool Support / Cyber Security Lab Support

Location - Whitefield, Bangalore**
Responsibilities:This role requires a strategic understanding of the business, customer/ patient needs, product technology and the purpose & values of Baxter to successfully deliver on the group priorities. A deep understanding of the latest security standards, systems, protocols and security products is needed.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Proactively maintain the lab to the latest version, including working with the different tool vendors for troubleshooting, patching, and license renewal.
  • Drive the stand up of SSC cloudbased components for the Fortify and Coverity tools
  • Managing VMs and supporting teams integrating their products into the lab infrastructure
  • Manage backend servers for the VM instances for all product teams to utilize
  • Testing, Scanning, and Maintaining of AWS and Azure environments
  • Testing and Scanning with Coverity, Black Duck, and Fortify
  • Understanding the product development life cycle
  • Installing and configuring tools
  • Building of the lab network
  • Maintain the validation and qualification of the lab to its current state
  • Proactively create, share, and read reports as part of the product development life cycle
  • Support in developing tooling schedules (i.e. license renewals, patching, updates)
  • Review current lab security measures and implement enhancements

Desired Technical skills / experience:

  • Sound understanding of AWS and Azure environment activities
  • Synopsys (Black Duck, Coverity), PortSwigger (Burp Suite Pro) and Rapid7 (Metasploit) experience
  • Sound understanding of security technologies/techniques like Cryptography, Algorithms, Public key Infrastructure (PKI) Certificate Authority (CA), Hardware/embedded authentication, OAuth, 2factor authentication
  • Strong knowledge of secure software development lifecycle and practices
  • Understanding of security by design principles and architecture level security concepts
  • Experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools including security analysis, audits and reviews
  • Knowledge of information system architecture and security controls (e.g., firewall and border router configurations, wireless architectures, specialized appliances)
  • Knowledge of current and emerging security threats and techniques for exploiting security vulnerabilities. Exposure to international privacy requirements & cross industry trends.
  • Experience with SAFe/ Agile methodologies for software development
  • Desired: Exposure to Healthcare IT or medical device industry
  • Desired: Application Server security

  • Demonstrated experience with global product releases throughout the product introduction cycle
  • Clear communicator with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Selfstarter, problem solver, results oriented and ability to multitask
  • Ability to mentor/ coach future technical leaders and professionals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge
  • A minimum 4 years technical experience working with cyber security architecture
  • A minimum 2 years working with each of the following:
  • AWS security
  • Conditional Access & MFA
  • Privileged access management
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated skill working as part of a team, collaborating and supporting peers in a fastpaced environm
