About the role Technical Lead - CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security

I. Purpose of the Job
As Technical Lead - CI/CD, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security y ou help different teams and tracks in leading IT and Digital implementations for the Quote-To-Cash domain and be a crucial member of the delivery teams.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Lead to join our Digital Commerce team within the Steel Transformation Manufacturing domain. As the Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in leading the design, implementation, and optimization of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, DevOps practices, infrastructure management, tools selection, and security measures for our B2B customer portal, B2C E-Commerce portals, and Customer Engagement portals on a global scale. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless delivery of robust, secure, and high-performance digital solutions, enabling our customers to engage with our products and services effectively.

Your Impact as Technical Lead -

Lead the technical strategy and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices for our digital commerce portals. Design, deploy, and manage the underlying infrastructure that supports our portals, ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, QA specialists, and product managers to drive efficient and effective development processes. Evaluate, select, and integrate appropriate tools and technologies that enhance the development, deployment, and monitoring of our portals. Establish and enforce security best practices, ensuring the protection of sensitive customer data and adherence to industry standards and regulations. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across the development lifecycle. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure, and security domains.

Essential Skilss & Competencies:

Strong experience in designing and implementing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for web applications, preferably in the E-commerce domain. Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps and pipeline management Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, including version control (e.g., Git), containerization (e.g., Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform). Solid background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with the ability to architect and manage cloud-based infrastructure. In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, and tools to safeguard digital platforms and customer data. Expertise in selecting and integrating development and monitoring tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, JIRA, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. Excellent programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, to automate processes and tasks. Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with the capacity to lead root cause analysis and implement effective solutions. Outstanding communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams, present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and document processes. Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, or any other similar qualification. Advanced certifications in relevant areas (CI/CD, DevOps, cloud, security) are a strong plus. 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure management. 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing and guiding teams in a collaborative environment. 2+ years of experience specifically in supporting DevOps for E-Commerce domains with microservice architecture. A strong portfolio of successful projects that highlight your contributions to CI/CD, DevOps, infrastructure, and security aspects. 3+ years of experience in a technical lead role with a strong focus on SAP SD and/or ABAP development Good written and verbal communication skills (in English). Knowledge of the Agile process and experience working in an Agile environment
