TheRole
  • Lead the QA team indesigning implementing and executing comprehensive test plans fortrading software applications ensuring adherence to qualitystandards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsincluding developers business analysts and product managers tounderstand requirements and develop test strategies that align withbusiness goals.
  • Develop and maintain automatedtest scripts using industrystandard tools/frameworks with a focuson efficiency scalability and maintainability.
  • Perform manual testing activities includingfunctional testing regression testing and exploratory testing toidentify defects and ensure software stability.
  • Analyze test results track defects and workclosely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues ina timely manner.
  • Mentor junior QA team membersproviding guidance on testing best practices automation techniquesand domain knowledge in the finance industry.
  • Stay updated on industry trends emergingtechnologies and regulatory changes relevant to trading softwaretesting and incorporate them into the QA process as needed.
ThePerson
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Finance or a related field. Advanced degreepreferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience insoftware quality assurance with a focus on testing trading orfinancial software applications.
  • Provenexpertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies toolsand frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills withproficiency in languages such as Java Python or C# for testautomation.
  • Experience with test automationtools such as Selenium Jenkins Appium RestAssured or similar.
  • Deep understanding of financial marketstrading processes and regulatory requirements (e.g. SEC FINRA MiFIDII).
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolvingskills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaboratewith crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong leadershipqualities with a track record of successfully leading QA teams anddriving process improvements.
  • Relevantcertifications such as ISTQB CFA or FRM are a plus.
