Enterprise Technology is looking for a hands-on and highly motivated individual who can work with a global team that is developing & deploying SAP S/4HANA for Ford's core manufacturing plants. The Data Architect will provide data driven design leadership. You will work with a large cross-functional team of Supply Chain IT members, a System's Integrator and software vendors, manufacturing business subject matter experts, and IT leads from numerous integrating systems.

This is a hybrid position, the Data Architect will collaborate with colleagues and teams 50% of the time in our Chennai, India office.

MUST have:


• Overall 5+ years in IT. Recent experience including 2+ years as a Data Architect


• Strong knowledge of and experience with database technologies

• The drive to follow an idea to its logical conclusion and ability to present to management in a clear and concise manner.


• Demonstrate ability on problem analysis/resolution and productivity improvements.


• Understand and closely work with PDO and business teams is a MUST


• Ability to work hands-on when needed to support the PDO team is a MUST


• Strong team player, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Willingness to continuously learn, innovate, and grow self and team is a MUST


• Willingness to be flexible and seek ideas/inputs from others and collaborate

NICE to have:

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field Data-Centric Architecture experience 1+ years of experience working with SAP S4 HANA experience. Google Cloud Platform technologies experience / knowledge Automotive industry experience or similar manufacturing industry experience. Experience working in a global team and an onshore/offshore team model. Experience working with a Systems Integrator Data Analytics experience Strong project management skills with effective communication and collaboration Respect and empathy for team members, business partner and product customer Excellent at problem solving and prevention. Knowledge and practical experience of agile delivery undefined
