JOB DESCRIPTION(About SISC)(Job Title)

AWS Cloud Architect / Linux Admin(Project Details):

FSMC / GSOIS is global SAP project hosted on AWS cloud with multiple instances running on RHEL LinuxThe job of Cloud System Engineer, will be a core member of a technical team for the project responsible for Operations, building and supporting cloud infrastructure and platform for Enterprise Cloud Services.

Any Bachelor's Degree4 – 6 YearsAWS Certification preferred(Job Overview):

The job of Cloud System Engineer, will be a core member of a technical team that's responsible for Operations, building and supporting cloud infrastructure and platform for Enterprise Cloud Services.

The candidate must be strong in Linux System Administration and AWS with expertise in system operations of production workloads running in cloud environments (preferably AWS)(Primary Skills):AWS Cloud infrastructureLinux AdministrationShell Scripting – Bash / PythonWindows server administration on AWSStrong communication skillsProblem solving skills.

Networking Skills(Good to have Skills):Experience in enterprise environmentsAzure administrationGitlabCluster

(Responsibilities and Duties):Any Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification is must.
Must be hands on AWS services EC2, Backup, Lambda, CloudWatch, Config, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS etc.
Understanding of supporting SAP systems support on AWS including cluster management, Database (HANA, Oracle), HA management etc.
Implement security policies and controls (e.g. CIS, malware, anti-virus, secret management) using aws servicesMust have knowledge to automate aws service deployment using CloudFormation / TerraformStrong ability to document standards, methods and produce drawings of systems and applications.
Strong Scripting skills with any scripting languages (Python (Lambda), Bash Shell)


Strong skills on AWS Cli and solid understanding on JSON / YamlDeploying and use of configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible etc.)Administration of Linux / Windows serversShould have experience on Patch Management, Volume Management, Linux firewall, Route tables, Kernel management, Troubleshooting OS issues, etc.,Good knowledge on transport layer security (SSL, TLS etc.)



Good to have knowledge on following skills:
Basic knowledge in web servers (Apache, NGINX, IIS, etc.)Basic knowledge in CI/CD – Github/ Gitlab/ Gitcli(Keywords)
