Job Location: Pune / Bangalore / Chennai

Software Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Linux with advanced Shell scripting skills
  • Understanding of DevOps concepts and hands-on experience with DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of Cloud services, especially AWS
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
  • Experience with scripting languages like Terraform and Python for process automation
  • Understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipeline and branching strategy
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps
  • Familiarity with the HasiCorp stack
  • Expertise in security and vulnerability management
  • Ability to adapt to modern technologies and stay updated with industry advancements

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Administer Linux-based systems and AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Implement DevOps practices to enhance system reliability and efficiency
  • Develop and manage IaC scripts using Terraform and other tools
  • Automate processes using scripting languages like Terraform and Python
  • Manage GitLab CI/CD pipeline and branching strategy
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure using Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps
  • Ensure security and vulnerability management of systems and cloud infrastructure
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and expand technical skill set continuously
  • Work in shifts and adhere to ITIL processes

Category-wise Technical Skills:

Linux and Shell Scripting:

  • Proficiency in Linux administration and advanced shell scripting

DevOps and Cloud:

  • Understanding of DevOps concepts and practical experience
  • Expertise in AWS services like VPC, EC2, ELB, S3, EKS, and ECS

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Proficiency in Terraform and writing code using Terraform Modules

Scripting and Automation:

  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages, specifically Terraform and Python

CI/CD and Version Control:

  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline and branching strategy

Deployment and Configuration Management:

  • Proficiency in Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps

Security and Vulnerability Management:

  • Familiarity with HasiCorp stack and best security practices

Adaptability and Self-Development:

  • Proactive approach to self-development and staying updated on industry trends

Monitoring and Observability:

  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as cloud watch, Grafana, Prometheus, and cloud trail

Experience:

  • RHCSA certification and AWS Solution Architecture certification
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes deployment

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Administer Linux-based systems and AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Develop and manage IaC scripts using Terraform and other tools
  • Automate processes using scripting languages like Terraform and Python
  • Manage GitLab CI/CD pipeline and branching strategy
  • Deploy and manage infrastructure using Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps
  • Ensure security and vulnerability management of systems and cloud infrastructure
  • Stay updated on industry trends and expand technical skill set continuously
  • Work in shifts and adhere to ITIL processes

Qualifications & Soft Skills:

  • RHCSA certification and AWS Solution Architecture certification
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle critical incidents with composure and efficiency
  • Proactive approach to self-development and adaptability to modern technologies
  • Willingness to work in shifts and experience with ITIL processes
