Key responsibilities

  • Analyse technical data and specifications of the equipment and supplies requirements
  • Analyse all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on leadtime, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
  • Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies and supplier preferencing study.
  • Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure ontime deliveries of final product.
  • Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.
  • Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
  • Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement

Required skills and attributes

  • Able to analyse technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements
  • Highlevel verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with office software, specifically Microsoft Excel or similar programs
  • Ability to negotiate commercial terms and manage the supply chain to the customer.
  • This job role requires close coordination with our offices in Dubai and the United States and communication skills are an integral part

Preferred Qualifications

  • BBA / MBA / Degree in logistics or supply chain management / BBM (required)
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant experience as Sales and Purchase coordinator (required)
  • IELTS or TOEFL (preferred)
