Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or computer engineering or equivalent experience with 35 years of experience designing and managing cloud systems, specifically Microsoft Azure and AWS related.
Extensive hands-on experience working with PaaS and IaaS products including containerised applications.

A deep understanding of virtual networks including routing, switching, and network security. Strong DevOps skill set.

Roles and responsibilities :

  • Minimum 35 years of relevant experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS resources
  • Mastery of CI/CD tools such as GitHub / GitHub actions and Azure DevOps
  • Deep and demonstrable experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes along with cloudnative/microservices architecture
  • Deep and demonstrable experience with Terraform or Bicep domain specific languages
  • Deep and demonstrable experience with Azure CLI, AWS-CLI, and PowerShell
  • Familiarity with Microsoft's Well Architected Framework
  • Experience in migrating onpremises workloads to the cloud
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience monitoring application health and collaborating with development teams to resolve infrastructure and product issues.
  • Extensive understanding of IT security
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AD) for authentication and federation
  • Knowledge of firewalls, VPN, load balancing, and general networking architecture as related to both AWS and Microsoft Azure
  • Capable of managing multiple, concurrent deliverables on aggressive delivery schedules with a conscientious work ethic
  • Strong technical, communication, and documentation skills
