Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop finite element models for structural analysis and Multiphysics simulations.
Ensure the accuracy and validity of simulation models through validation against experimental or analytical data.
Perform linear and nonlinear structural analyses to assess the mechanical behavior of components and assemblies.
Evaluate stresses, strains, deformations, and failure modes under different loading conditions.
Optimize designs to improve structural integrity, reduce weight, and enhance performance.
Integrate multiple physical phenomena such as structural mechanics, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and electromagnetics into cohesive simulations.
Analyze the interactions between different physical domains to capture coupled effects accurately.
Interpret simulation results to extract meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
Generate reports and presentations summarizing analysis findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate technical information effectively.
Explore new simulation techniques, software tools, and computational approaches to improve capabilities.
Document best practices and standard procedures for simulation methodologies.
Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks to ensure the reliability and accuracy of simulation results.
Implement quality control processes to maintain consistency and reliability in simulations.
Stay abreast of advancements in FEA techniques, software platforms, and simulation methodologies.
Foster a collaborative work environment conducive to innovation and problem-solving.
Support global product development team to ensure first time right during design phase.

Job Requirements & Qualification:

ME/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering.10+ years of hands-on in performing Structural, Thermal and Multiphysics simulation.5+ years of experience in fatigue, stress relaxation and welding simulations.

Solid experience in handling explicit dynamic analysis such as drop test, Shock etc.,Solid knowledge through academic coursework or experience required in numerical methods, strength of materials and validation of simulation results with the experimental data.

Experience with ANSYS CAE packages is a must.

Candidate will need to communicate complex engineering and physics concepts to a wide-ranging audience through both written and verbal means.

Experience in connector industry and automotive EV industry will be added advantage.
