Job Description:

  • Responsible for Inventory Valuation & Provisioning at every month end.
  • Supporting Business by providing pricing approvals for Domestic Sales, Export Sales, Industrial Sales, including Railway orders.
  • Assisting in Budget preparation, Various MIS, and working board tasks.
  • Product Costing, working closely with the sales department.
  • Effective partnership with business to drive key metrics affecting business performance.
  • Handling scrap notes approvals.
  • Approval of Daily Sales orders margins and workings.
  • Managing SAP master data for Routing/Std Price.
  • Maintaining scrap rates master data.
  • Conducting Physical Inventory counts visits to plant, uploading in SAP, and approving variances.
  • Controlling Sales orders Pricing and approvals in SAP.
  • Meeting Quarterly Statutory Audit requirements.
  • Preparing Inventory data for submission to Bank/Insurance.
  • Monitoring COGI and following up with plant to maintain control.

Education Qualification:

  • MCom or CWA qualification.
  • Preferably with 8-10 years of experience in MIS & Costing, with a good understanding of Accounts & Finance activities.
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, skilled in visualizing data and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Prior experience in MIS & Costing function is advantageous.
  • Expert Knowledge of SAP FICO SD & MM.
  • Strong Analytical Reasoning and Problem-solving skills, with the ability to dissect problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multifunctional teams.
  • Active listening skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Disciplined in meeting timelines, organized handling priorities and high-pressure situations.
