Job Description

Role Summary:

The Production Supervision specialist provides overall leadership and support forperformance of the daily operations of manufacturing shops to ensure reliability andconsistency on the production line and provide direction of production teams.

Theposition implements actions to improve product & process quality, as well asaccelerating and support cultural change efforts aimed at achieving organizationalgoals.


Essential Responsibilities / Expectations:
Overall leadership to both the Chemical blending and Membrane manufacturingoperations in the Plant
  • Monitoring and improving productivity, while ensuring all customercommitments are met in a timely, quality, and cost-conscious manner.
  • Managing the production shift lead's and engaging them in skill enhancementof operators by developing and creating training plans to maximize workforcecapability.
  • Leading Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts insupport of plant goals
  • Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation to optimize costs and implementdigital tools that enable productivity.
  • Aware of and comply with the Veolia Quality Manual, Quality ManagementSystem, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws andregulations as they apply to this job type/position.

Educational Qualification:


BE Chemical or MechanicalKey Skills required (must haves – certifications/ know- how):Bachelor's Degree with 5-6 years production, supply chain experience2.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.3. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement Best Practices and deal withelevated levels of ambiguity.4. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal andleadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams.5. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Effective problem identificationand solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability6. Knowledge on SAP, Microsoft 365/Google tools would be added advantage.
