Job Description:

  • Conduct thorough scans using automated pen testing tools to assess internal and external environments.
  • Identify misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and exposures in applications, infrastructure, and networks.
  • Prepare reports, deliver findings to stakeholders, and propose security enhancements.
  • Develop and optimize alerts to address vulnerabilities across platforms.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance detection capabilities.
  • Monitor and address newly identified vulnerabilities to minimize their impact.
  • Support internal and external audits conducted by the compliance team.
  • Demonstrate expertise in cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with their security services.
  • Preferably hold AWS or Azure Security certifications.
  • Utilize scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ruby) for security automation.
  • Experience in container security and familiarity with networking protocols.
  • Understanding of secure software development practices and DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Design and implement security controls for cloud environments, including identity management and network security.
  • Implement secure development lifecycle practices, including threat modeling and security testing.
  • Conduct vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and ensure ongoing security in the software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, ISO.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to mitigate security risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and educate stakeholders on security best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Participate in incident response and offer technical guidance during security incidents.
  • Proficiency in tools like Nessus, Rapid7, Splunk, Burp Suite for Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, OWASP, and Application Security.
