Role Description:

As an L2 Network Security professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's network infrastructure. Your tasks will include network administration, troubleshooting, network security implementation and maintenance, network design, and general networking duties.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Administration: Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
  • Ensure network availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and security-related issues.
  • Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats.
  • Assist in network design and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into the network infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage network protocols and technologies, monitor network traffic, and performance.

Network Administration Skills:
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve network issues efficiently.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining network security measures, understanding network design principles, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
