Job Summary:The Maps Data team is responsible for managing the platform and systems that showcase various map features worldwide.
You will act as a bridge between the software engineering team and users to maximize the software systems' efficiency.

Key Qualifications:- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills, preferably in Java, Scala, or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated expertise in Big Data processing technologies (Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra, and other NO SQL solutions).
- Ability to adapt to new technologies independently.
- Experience in designing systems that interact with external vendor interfaces.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Flexible to take on various responsibilities with a can-do attitude.
In this role, you'll be responsible for constructing data validation platforms on a large scale.
Mainly coding in Scala, you will work with Play Framework, Spark, Mongo DB, and other innovative platforms.
The field of Maps is intricate; therefore, you'll be challenged to grasp concepts swiftly and collaborate effectively.
Successful candidates will possess robust engineering skills, effective communication, and a belief in the power of collaborative development.
Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
An advanced degree is preferred.
Desirable Qualifications:- Prior experience in Geospatial technology.
- Familiarity with Play or similar frameworks is advantageous.
- Experience with Jenkins or other build integration systems.
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop technologies, such as MR, Spark, Yarn, etc.
- Proficiency in using and managing Mongo and PostGres is beneficial.
