Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Training and Placement Officer. The TPO will be responsible for managing the placement process for students of B.Tech MBA and MCA and building relationships with companies and recruiters, organizing campus recruitment events, coordinating with faculty and students, conducting career development workshops, and collaborating with the management team to enhance placement opportunities.

A. Knowledge:

  • Understanding of the education sector, specifically higher education, and B.Tech student placement processes.
  • Knowledge of various industries and their recruitment needs.
  • Familiarity with campus recruitment practices and trends.
  • Understanding of career development strategies and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of effective networking and relationship-building techniques.
  • Awareness of employment laws and regulations.

B. Functional Skills:

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively manage the placement process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with companies, recruiters, faculty, and students.
  • Event planning and coordination abilities for organizing campus recruitment events.
  • Ability to conduct engaging and informative career development workshops.
  • Negotiation skills for securing placement opportunities for students.
  • Data analysis skills to track placement metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software for documentation and presentation purposes.

C. Attributes:

Qualifications

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong networking and relationship-building skills

· Experience in managing campus recruitment and placement activities

· Knowledge of industry trends and job market

· Strong organizational and coordination skills

· Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively

· Bachelor's/Master's degree in Management or related field

· Experience in the education industry is a Must

Expereince -5-10 years of relevant experience only.
