Job Title:

Senior Manager - Reporting DeliveryCareer Level - EIntroduction to role:We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Business Intelligence Reporting - Senior Manager.

This role is pivotal in managing a matrix organization of Business Intelligence Reporting Leads and Developers, ensuring a sustainable delivery model.

You will be the bridge between stakeholders and the team, implementing a framework that leads projects to success.

If you have a solid foundation in Business Intelligence and have led high visibility and large-scale delivery, this role is for youAccountabilities:As the Reporting – Senior Manager, you will manage a matrix organization of delivery leads who have Reporting Analysts and BI Experts reporting to them.

You will ensure the needs of the reporting team are met in terms of Learning & Development, individual's concerns and their mitigation and providing a growth environment for their upscaling.

You will also collaborate closely with the business partners and establish good relationship with them.

You will conduct monthly governance with the Reporting leads and ensure we have maintained our TAT, SLA and good BAU support.


Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering.

7+ years' experience working as BI lead.

7+ years of leadership experience, preferably leading, managing and developing large teams of professionals.

5+ years of experience in customer facing operations environment.

Should possess business knowledge on the US & Global pharma landscape.

Should have hands-on experience working with Pharma commercial datasets mainly IQVIA data and/or Market Access, Digital and omnichannel data

Lean Six Sigma – Black/ Green Belt Certification is a Plus

Should be a certified BI Analyst, BI Architect from an accredited organization.

Shown experience as a technical lead or architect within any BI platform.

Strong experience in insourcing high scale reporting projects.

Should have led process automations.

In-depth knowledge of software development practices within the BI environment.

Proficiency in test-driven development methodologies and experience in applying them to reporting solutions.


Been part of global programs with exposure to people across the organization and should have delivered a continuous improvement project.

Excellent communication and should have been a lauded member in public speaking platforms like Toastmasters.

Been active in engagements and possess good networking skills across all levels in organization.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with senior management to define the long-term analytics roadmap and strategy, aligning it with the organization's business objectives.


Multi-functional Collaboration: Champion collaboration between different teams, such as, engineering, business intelligence, to drive alignment and enhance the impact of reporting initiatives.


Thought Leadership:
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes in analytics and data engineering. Act as a leader with vision within the organization by sharing knowledge and promoting innovation.

Performance Metrics:
Define and supervise key performance indicators (important metrics) to measure the effectiveness and impact of analytics solutions. Present regular reports and insights to senior management and team members.

Continuous Improvement:

Find opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization within the analytics backend solutions team and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
