Business Analyst in the following industries in order of preference

  • Card Industry. If card industry experience, then migration experience highly desirable.
  • Payments Industry
  • Software Development within the Banking Industry
  • Software Development within the Finance Industry
  • Software Development outside the banking/Finance Industry

Pure Business Analysts

  • Avoid hybrids i.e. Project Manager/Business Analyst, Tester/Business Analyst, Systems Analyst/Business Analyst or any combination of the above or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years as a pure business analyst
  • Strong preference for client facing business analysts (i.e. not internal to the organization business analysts)
  • Rather well experienced in the following areas. His CV and any screening must clearly indicate that most of his time was spent on the below and not the below being a small fraction of his/her past responsibilities.
  • Leading requirement elicitation sessions with clients
  • Requirements analysis
  • Requirements definition
  • Requirements documentation and writing Functional documentation

Highly desirable but not critical

  • Experience in working with packaged software requiring deep understanding of the product/s.
  • Professional Certifications like CIBA, BCS, etc.
  • Good Users of the following tools:
  • MS Word
  • MS Excel
  • MS Powerpoint
  • MS Visio
  • Other
  • Open to international travel up to 20%

Elicit, analyse, document, and communicate business requirements of systems.

Own the business requirements for projects and support clients and internal teams during the life cycle of the project

Provide system/product consultancy support to clients and educate clients on system features and functionality where required.
