What you'll do :

Principal Accountabilities on the Business/Function :

Work closely with UX/CX, design, content, Analytics teams, ad control, to scope out tests, document requirements, create hypotheses, develop variations to test, build tests and thoroughly QA

Act as the technical subject matter expert on AB Testing implementation best practices across Optimisation team peers.

- Develop test variations within Optimizely that will support our analysis and drive customer experience optimisation initiatives across desktop, mobile and app.

- Proactively come up with new test ideas on how to improve the customer experience and further iterate on tests using analysis of onsite behaviour, customer feedback and competitor analysis.

- Create post-test reporting dashboards for test measurement and share learnings with the stakeholders

- Role requires collaborative working with colleagues in the Analytical functions within the regions, the Digital Centres of Excellence, and the Global Digital Analytics leadership.

Leadership & Teamwork :

- Develops and maintain relationships and work well with all levels of management. Leverages existing expertise across RBWM Analytics CoE and promotes culture of "Build Once, Deploy Many"

- Actively seeks input from others- encourages and listens to different viewpoints and perspectives. Uses networks inside and outside the business to provide support in delivering goals

- Assists building a culture committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service and healthy, open, transparent, honest team environment.

- Facilitates a culture of continuous innovation, challenges the business on approach and keeps abreast of the latest developments in the analytics and digital realms

Operational Effectiveness & Control :

- Drive process re-engineering, improvements in existing delivery mechanism and accelerate re-deployment of analytic solutions by promoting "Build Once, Deploy Many" culture across CoE

- Continuously review key risks and proactively institute controls in place to address the same.

Major Challenges :

- Operate as a part of a global team that can work across timezones and with markets in various states of digital development. Strong focus on quick wins and iterative refinements.

- Keeping a strong focus on digital channels at the same time as working towards an integrated approach to the omni channel customer experience

- Adapt rapidly to a changing internal environment as the organization challenges itself to become a leader instead of a follower in this analytical specialism

- The incumbent of this role is expected to surmise the business priority and enable the effective delivery of projects and analysis.

Depending on the project team size, there could be some project management related challenges which the incumbent would need to proactively address and resolve.

Management of Risk (Operational Risk / FIM requirements) :

- The job holder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology

- This will be achieved by ensuring all actions take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring.

- Also by addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department

Observation of Internal Controls(Compliance Policy / FIM requirements) :

- The job holder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.

- The jobholder will implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer. The term 'compliance' embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules and codes with which the business has to comply.

- This will be achieved by adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with Compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators.

Role Dimensions(e.g. balance sheet size, lending/expenditure limits, size/volume of transactions, budget):

This position does not involve direct people management responsibility. However, as a project manager, the incumbent is expected to provide functional guidance to the team of Analysts / Assistant Managers across geographies and virtually lead projects across geographies.

Qualifications :

What you will need to succeed in the role :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience on optimisation A/B test development using HTML, CSS and Java using Optimizely or similar tools (Adobe target, Maxymizer)

- A relevant first degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer science or any quantitative area or MBA (with quantitative background). A Masters in a related discipline would be of value.

- Hands on experience working with solutions such as Adobe Analytics/ Omniture, Adobe Ad-hoc.

Understanding of Digital Analytics ecosystem with various plays and optimization approaches to enhance digital experience is preferred.

- Experience on SQL/Bigquery preferred

- Strong desire to work in analytics area

- Exceptionally strong project management, problem-solving, inter-personal and communication skill.
