Overview

This role involves developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, automation test scripts, and process plans for Gallagher Re projects.

You will contribute towards maintaining test automation framework.

As well as being a key part of a product team, will work closely with various departments to design and validate test cases based on quality requirements, and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the end product meets the Gallagher Re's quality standards. You should demonstrate strong attention to detail and have analytical and problem-solving abilities.

You will be responsible to perform root cause analysis of the defects to identify patterns and provide accurate and comprehensive feedback to colleagues.

Responsibilities Experience in Manual testing, report bugs, issues and defects. Develop and execute test cases and test plans to validate the functionality and performance of PowerBI/Salesforce reports. Validate the back-end data integrity with regards to the reports Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues. Participate in requirement analysis and contribute to test planning activities.

Evaluate the impact of changes to the data sources and other dependencies on reports and ensure that reports continue to provide accurate and relevant information.

Perform regression testing, load testing, and other relevant test types as needed.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PowerBI features, functionality, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to the testing and validation of reports.

Qualifications Candidate should have around 3-5 years of experience into Manual testing.

Good understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience in using SQL for data validation Must have Prior experience in reports testing (like PowerBI) Prefer to have prior exposure on testing data validation scenarios and Data ingestion, pipelines, and transformation processes Exposure in developing scripts using tools like Selenium using Java or C# Experience in using GIT, JIRA / Azure DevOps or any other similar tools Strong analytical, problem-solving skills Should be ready to work in an environment which may demand individual contribution as well as a team player.

Exposure to CI-CD tools will be an advantage Prior exposure to projects developed through Agile methodology in Cloud environment will be preferred
