RoleOverview:

We are looking for aFinance and Accounts Manager with excellent organizational andanalytical skills. The incumbent will support the Finance Lead andwill contribute to the overall success of the organization byeffectively managing all the financial accounting and statutoryrequirements of the organization.

Roles andResponsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee daytoday operations of the finance departmentfor both profit and nonprofit units. Ensure accurate and timelyfinancial recordkeeping and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent financialmisapplication. Identifying negative variances and drivinginitiatives to ensure effective utilization offunds.
  • Prepare financial reports to assessfeasibility cash flow and fund utilization and ensure optimum useof available funds.
  • Ensure adherence tofinancial controls in compliance with companypolicies.
  • Generate and present variousfinancial reports and dashboards for management and boardmeetings.
  • Develop and maintain datadrivendashboards to facilitate informed decisionmaking and financialanalysis.
  • Utilize data analysis skills toidentify trends anomalies and opportunities for improving financialperformance cost efficiency and resourceallocation.
  • Proficiency in advanced MS Excelskills Tally ERP9 and Tally Prime
  • Overseefinancial functions including accounts payable/receivable payrollbudgeting and variance analysis.
  • Evaluateproject profitability and suggest corrective measures asneeded.
  • Develop and implement processdrivensystems and policies for finance function.
  • Coordinate with auditors for finalization of accounts statutoryaccounts closure filing various returns and responsible to manageincome tax notice/queries.
  • Update donorscoreboard with weekly inputs on donations grants and fundutilization.
  • Assess efficiency ofimplementation partners and projectprofitability.
  • Identify opportunities toinvest surplus funds for higher returns.
  • Conduct financial due diligence and audit for implementationpartners.

QualificationsSkills &Experience:

  • 7to 9 years of experience in handling finance and accounts function(some experience working in a consulting firm or a not for profitsector will be an addedadvantage)
  • CharteredAccountant MBA (Finance) ICWA any other equivalent degree inFinance
  • Proficiencyin use of accounting software Tally MIS ERP Excel is amust
  • Analytical thinker withstrong conceptual and problem solvingskills.
  • Meticulous attentionto detail with good organizationskills
  • Selfmotivatedinitiative driven with ability to think out of thebox.
  • Fairly good reportwriting and communicationskills
  • High integrityloyalty and confidentiality attributes with strong referencerequired
  • Startupexperience or experience working in a fast paced environment willbebeneficial
