Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team, someone with a deep understanding of data engineering and visualization.

The perfect candidate will have practical knowledge in data warehousing, data lakes/lakehouses, and proficiency in tools like Spark and Snowflake.

Familiarity with Docker Containers and a solid grasp of Azure services are also crucial - including Azure Databricks, DevOps, Data Factory (ADF), AKS, App Service, and Machine Learning (ML).


Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust data architecture solutions, covering data warehousing and data lakes/lakehouses, to address business requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Spark and Snowflake for building and managing data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Effective utilization of Docker Containers for streamlined deployment and handling of data applications and services.

Implementation and oversight of Azure services, such as Databricks, DevOps, ADF, AKS, App Service, and ML.


  • Close collaboration with diverse teams to understand and assess data needs, designing scalable and effective data solutions.
  • Engagement in batch or stream processing initiatives to produce data sets and pipelines for use by BI and data science teams.
  • Ensuring data security, reliability, and adherence to regulatory protocols.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a Data Architect or similar role, specializing in data warehousing, data lakes/lakehouses, and Spark/Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker Containers and Azure services - Databricks, DevOps, ADF, AKS, App Service, and ML.
  • Strong background in data engineering and visualization, focusing on crafting scalable data solutions.
  • Experience in batch or stream processing projects, generating data for use by BI and data science teams.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
