Role Overview

We are looking for a confident and sociable individual who will play a crucial role in the finance team, fostering strong relationships and providing support and constructive feedback to the business leads.

The role involves managing month-end closure, accounting tasks, controls, analysis, reconciliations, and preparing reports for senior management review. You will also engage significantly in business partnering, communicating daily with the finance team, Sales, and Operational leads.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales and Operational leads to ensure accurate forecasting and understand financial implications.
  • Create precise forecasts of costs and benefits.
  • Ensure revenue assurance and address related queries.
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting, review performance against targets, and explain variances.
  • Provide essential management and financial information to support business growth.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of resource utilization, FTE mix, rate cards, and overheads.
  • Generate timely and accurate monthly reports, oversee P&L representation, manage month-end closures, working capital reconciliations, and cash flow validations.
  • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports as needed.
  • Offer pricing and business case assistance when required.
  • Assist in process enhancement efforts, suggest improvements, and develop new reports and procedures as necessary.
  • Lead discussions with stakeholders, collaborate with auditors during annual/half-yearly closures.

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Precision in data interpretation and analysis
  • Timely reporting and meeting deadlines
  • Identifying and implementing process enhancements
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (including XLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF, text manipulation, data validation, etc.) and MS Office

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in service sector organizations
  • Proficiency in SAP
  • Familiarity with other tools and software
