Job Title: Senior Service Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team: PSU IT

Impact & contribution:

Collaborate with Frontline & Business Banking customers to develop relevant payments data reporting.Reduce effort of Ops investigations and executional processes related to payments data.

Reporting lines:

The role position reports into the India Chapter Lead

Roles & Responsibilities:

You will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities.Providing timely and high quality resolutions to customer incidents and service requests following agreed process guidelines, work practices and service standards focussing on Merchants Technology production support services.Ensure maximum availability and performance of CBA's payment application with 24x7 supportSystem monitoring with realtime monitoring tools (Splunk, Prognosys, ViewPoint etc)Provide proactive and reactive support to application and operational issues across production and other environments.Liase with external vendor, other CBA teams to ensure incidents are resolved in a timely manner.Identifying, creating, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives which improve process and/or service to customers.Responsible for problem identification, root cause analysis, and developing solutions in close collaboration with other CBA team for problem resolution.Closely work with project teams to ensure quality change and releases are deployed successfully.Ensure technical documentation and standard procedures are up-to date with regular reviews and updates.Managing BAU as well as supporting strategic direction of Merchant servicesProviding consultation, trouble shooting and advisory service to system users.

Essential Skills:

Around 5-7 years of experience in application support/ development in CONNEX application with HP NonStop Tandem environment. Even Testing can be considered on case to case basis.Good understanding of EFT (debit card processing) – transaction processing fundamentals, different message types and standards like ISO8583/ AS2805Experience in Enscribe, SQL Databases, Pathway, FUP, SCUP, INSPECT, XINSPECT, DDL, Enform, Batchcom, CED, Connex Utilities(SMONINQY/AUDTSCAN/LOGSCAN),Knowledge on TACL, TAL is valued.Good knowledge on Authorizing Process.Desired problem solving and troubleshooting skills with technical and functional understanding of payments landscapePossess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervisionExperience with systems analysis, application support and continuous improvement initiativesExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Good understanding and working knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)Service management framework (incident, problem, change management)

Qualifications:

Graduate (Preferably Btech/Mtech/MCA)
