Your reporting Lines:

This role reports to the India Chapter Lead – Chapter Lead Payments System Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize engineering practices to achieve business goals and support team members in developing core technologies.
  • Lead projects of low to moderate complexity, ensuring efficient deployment of technical solutions.
  • Assume responsibility for platform assimilation, focusing on hardware, networking, data handling, and application integration.
  • Emphasize non-functional aspects like security, reliability, and scalability while meeting service level objectives.
  • Mentor team members, advocate best practices, and drive strategic engineering goals.
  • Provide support for production systems and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Essential Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in SWIFT product/Domain with overall 12+ years.
  • Proficiency in MT, FileAct, InterAct, RMA, and SWIFT ISO 20022 migration.
  • Hands-on experience with SWIFT translator, IBM MQ, Kafka, and Certificate Management.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT Alliance Gateway, Alliance Web Platform, HSM setup, Unix/Shell Scripting, WebSphere, and AWS services.
  • Familiarity with source control systems, CI/CD tools, Java, SQL, and Monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of Banking Industry and cloud technologies.

Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent is required.
