We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
Design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business users' needs. Work as DevOps engineer and own and deliver the automation scripts enabling Pipeline deployments. Conduct system tests, user acceptance tests and provide support on system implementation. Ensure a high-quality standard of deliverables in accordance to HSBC standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to other team members. Design and build solutions by increasing customer satisfaction and align solutions to our business and IT Strategy. Build solutions with an engineering mindset that not just achieve functional objectives but also cater to non-functional requirements with consistent performance. Interact with local and global business analysts, project managers, technical architects and developers, detailing the design and driving quality end-to-end solutions. Collaborate closely with global technology teams and support functions, with regards to strategy, operating model, implementation, production support transition and project lifecycle governance. Stay up to date with the latest advancements and technologies in JAVA / Python development. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline. Good track record with the entire Software Development Life Cycle process. Solid skill set and development experience in Java, Python, Unix/Linux, Git and Maven / Gradle is essential. Solid knowledge of Spring framework, hands on development experience on Spring & Spring Boot, Restful API development. Good track record with relational database product like PostgreSQL. Strong understanding of DevOps/Agile way of working. Good presentation and communication skills with fluent English speaking and writing skills. Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative. Able to work independently and effectively under pressure. Able to adapt in global team culture and communicate with teammate in different locations. Previous experience with Traded Risk platforms and Business domain knowledge in Risk is a big plus. Knowledge in Cloud or Containerization Technology will be an advantage.-
