The Opportunity :

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be the mastermind behind building and maintaining a highly scalable data pipeline framework.

This framework will be the cornerstone for our clients to construct data pipelines effortlessly from a multitude of input sources.

You'll collaborate extensively across product, business, design, and engineering teams to ensure flawless execution and achieve milestones on time.

You'll Be Instrumental In :

  • Crafting, deploying, and maintaining a scalable data pipeline framework.
  • Bridging the gap between functions to stay on top of team deliverables and objectives.
  • Interacting with endusers to grasp their requirements, analyze data, craft specifications, and design proofofconcept solutions.
  • Spearheading technical design and architecture efforts, while also diving into handson development.
  • Partnering strategically with project managers and directors to deliver on client expectations and adhere to project timelines.
  • Establishing best practices, guidelines, and standards within your team.
Do You Possess the Following?

  • 4+ years of proven experience in data engineering or data science.
  • Expertise in Python and SQL, with a rocksolid foundation in data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake and dbt for data warehousing and transformation tasks.
  • Experience with PySpark for largescale data processing (a plus).
  • Knowledge of graph databases and machine learning (a plus).
  • A demonstrably successful track record in designing and implementing complex data systems from the ground up.
  • Experience in handling largescale data projects, encompassing data acquisition, ETL processes, and information retrieval.
  • Expertise in database design and SQL (relational and/or NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with machine learning, particularly in feature engineering.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and listening skills.
  • Previous experience in product development or financial services (highly desirable).
  • Experience in the capital markets, particularly the alternative asset management industry (highly preferred).
