About the department
Digital, Data & IT India is a team of 900+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Enterprise Platform & Tech Services is an integral part of the DD&IT and is responsible for supporting, operating, and further developing the portfolio of IT Systems used across departments in Novo Nordisk.
Position
As a Product Owner, Key responsibilities are:
Define and prioritize product backlog based on business requirements, technical feasibility, and in alignment with Product Manager Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Agile dev/ops team, Scrum master, business analysts, and stakeholders to define product features and user stories. Develop and maintain product roadmap and sprint release plan to ensure timely delivery of product increments. Ensure compliance with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices throughout the product development lifecycle. Continuously monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Communicate product updates and progress to the product manager and stakeholders including senior management and business leaders. Act as a subject matter expert on master data management & integration technologies, apply data management & integration best practices, and emerging trends in the field. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on product management principles and agile development methodologies. Must be ready to support US business with 3-4 hours of overlap during late IST hours.Qualifications
We Expect you to hold the below skills and knowledge:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 7+ years of experience in data management, data integration, data warehousing, or related field Should have had 3+ years of working in agile setup. Must have hands-on experience with master data management MDM tool, Integration ETL tool e.g. Informatica, IICS or relevant. Strong understanding of data management and data integration concepts Experience with agile development methodologies and product management principles. Proven ability to translate business requirements into product features and user stories. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams including agile dev/ops team, business analysts, and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or relevant.-
