Job Title: Big Data Solutions Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend business needs to devise and execute solutions adhering to big data architectural standards.
  • Devise data-driven solutions for complex business dilemmas in collaboration with data scientists and business consultants.
  • Design and establish data views from big data repositories to support analytics solutions and visualization layers.
  • Identify and rectify data inaccuracies through troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Perform root cause analysis of data issues and develop sustainable long-term solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven interpersonal and organizational abilities are imperative.

Required Skills:

Mandatory: SQL, Python, Databricks, Spark

Preferred: MongoDB, Dataiku DSS, Pyspark

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in SQL with experience in relational databases and familiarity with various databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres).
  • Expertise in constructing and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
  • Extensive experience in data processing using Python.
  • Solid understanding of Big data tools and ecosystems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Significant knowledge of ETL development tools such as Databricks/Airflow.
  • Strong technical foundation to swiftly grasp next-gen tools and engage with them.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Capability to plan, prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving skills with a 'think outside the box' approach.
  • Strong team player.
