Requirements

Job Description:

The DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical Postgres SQL systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of desired applications. Troubleshooting DB issues, optimizing stored procedures and queries will be in the purview of the role. This is a hands-on position and there are no line-management responsibilities. Hands-on experience of Cloud Environments.

Responsibilities:

Manage PostgreSQL databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to Production. Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations.
