Job Description

What you get to do in this role: This role sits in the GST/VAT team for EMEA and APAC Indirect tax compliance in Hyderabad.

Manage India Indirect Tax compliances independently with the help of tax consultant such as GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST Refunds, GSTR-2B Vs Purchase register reconciliation, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, Generation of e-way bills and e-invoices, etc. Initiate timely GST payments and file the GST compliances within the due dates Support on Indirect tax litigations and GST Audits with the help of tax consultant Support queries from internal stake holders, Statutory Auditors, Internal Audit teams, Direct Tax Auditors on India GST compliances Keep updated with the latest GST developments and implement changes as and when applicable Identify gaps in Indirect Tax processes and support in building robust processes Support on Indirect Tax compliance for other countries in EMEA and APAC Opportunity to work on tax technology projects, e-invoicing and AI in Tax This role would report to Indirect Tax Senior Manager in Hyderabad

Qualifications

​​​​​​​ In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

Chartered Accountant with 5 years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Tax Able to work independently on India Indirect tax compliance Able to comprehend tax issues and come up with probable solutions Good communication, Analytical and presentation skills Well-versed with Excel, Word and Power point Preferably a candidate who has worked in a MNC or Big 4 Operational knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
