About the Role:


The Embedded software organization is responsible for the accelerated development of embedded software components and vehicle controllers and delivers the Deep Connectivity Platform at industry scale.


  • Manual tester role responsible for executing test procedures against customer vehicle platforms and other test systems for Sibros Firmware releases.
  • Perform requirement analysis, test case design, test execution and test result reporting.
  • Monitoring and storing the relevant logs for the tests performed and maintaining traceability to the executed test cases.
  • Manage the endtoend traceability between requirements and test cases.
  • Responsible for bug identification and troubleshooting based on instructions mentioned in manuals.
  • Responsible for performing sanity, regression and full volume tests of the release build.
  • Occasional travel directly to OEM customer facilities and service centers to perform tests, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
years of experience in firmware or software testing roles.

  • Possess a strong analytical and problemsolving mindset.
  • Fluent in English. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Handson experience with testing in the automotive industry.
  • Exposure to test automation and framework development activities
  • Coding experience in Python or other programming languages.
  • Experienced in the following:
  • Manual testing roles for software and hardware based companies
  • Microcontrollers, electrical circuits, and basic circuit design.
  • Using and/or setting up hardwarebased test systems.
