The mission of Alexa Sensitive Content Tech team is to protect trust, privacy, safety and security of Alexa users.The team uses cutting edge technologies to develop large-scale platforms to analyze huge number of skill interactions by Alexa customers in batch and real time and also also monitor customer experience on other feedback channels.
The team uses various content classification and machine learning algorithms for solving complex business challenges.The team also works with Category teams across Alexa ecosystem to analyze insights from customer engagement, quality and customer experience.
We are looking for an innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed, data-obsessed business intelligence engineer who can be a strategic partner to the product managers and other engineers on the team.
You work tightly with other data engineers, category owners and data scientist on across Alexa teams to create the reporting infrastructure and pipelines to drive our analytics from initial experimentation to production level deployment.
You will work on critical analytical problems, building unique high quality reliable, accurate, consistent, and architecturally sound data and analytics solutions that are aligned with our business needs.

A day in the life
In this role, you will deal with Alexa real time skill responses, customer utterances, Alexa-skill and vendor based data, data from various dependent interconnected systems across Alexa ecosystem.
You will partner with Business/Engineering teams to consult, develop and implement KPIs, automated reporting/process solutions to meet business needs.You will build data models, ETL, reports and dashboards to enhance how business and science teams use data to deepen our understanding of customer engagement and product and ML model performance.
You will develop new and innovative analyses to inform research and product roadmaps. You will share and present your analyses to science, business, and engineering teams and leadership.About the team

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bangalore, KA, IND- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with largescale, complex datasets
