Our Client, a leading MNC in Energy sector in Mumbai is looking for a legal professional with 5-8 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (EPC, Supply etc.), general corporate advisory and transactions. Candidates having exposure to international contracts will be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide commercially oriented and solution based legal and compliance support to the business in a variety of business matters.
  • Review, negotiate, draft and advise on various types of transactions and commercial contracts, including supply and EPC contracts with customers and subcontracts and procurement contracts.
  • Provide legal support to project execution teams.
  • Manage claims and disputes.

Qualifications

  • Qualification to practise law in India, with a [Master of Laws] or similar degree from an accredited law school in India. Law studies or a law degree from abroad are seen as a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience in either an in-house or a private practice role in an international environment.
  • You have worked with corporate and commercial transactions internationally, preferably in the energy or construction industry.
  • Prior experience of high value equipment supply contracts and EPC contracts is seen as an advantage.
