Overview:As anOphthalmologist for OPD you will play a crucial role in diagnosingand providing medical and surgical treatment for eye disorders anddiseases. You will be responsible for maintaining the higheststandard of patient care and ensuring efficient operations withinthe outpatient department.KeyResponsibilities:

• Conducting thorougheye examinations and assessments forpatients.
• Diagnosing and treating various eyeconditions diseases and injuries.
• Performingsurgeries such as cataract removal LASIK and other visioncorrection procedures.
• Prescribing and managingmedication and treatment plans forpatients.
• Providing pre and postoperative careand counseling to patients.
• Collaborating withother healthcare professionals to coordinate patientcare.
• Utilizing advanced diagnostic equipmentand technology for accurateassessments.
• Documenting patient records andmaintaining confidentiality of sensitiveinformation.
• Participating in continuousmedical education and training to stay updated with advancements inophthalmology.
• Ensuring compliance with medicallaws regulations and ethicalstandards.

RequiredQualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine(MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree withspecialization in Ophthalmology.
• Boardcertification in Ophthalmology.
• Valid statemedical license to practice as anOphthalmologist.
• Proven experience inperforming ophthalmic surgeries andprocedures.
• Excellent clinical judgment anddiagnostic skills.
• Strong communication andinterpersonal abilities for patientinteractions.
• Ability to work collaborativelyin a multidisciplinary healthcareteam.
• Proficiency in using ophthalmicdiagnostic and surgical equipment.
