We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps team and drive the implementation of best practices in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment strategies.. As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting scalable and reliable systems, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize development workflows.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps methodologies, extensive experience with cloud technologies, and proven leadership skills..

Responsibilities :

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance and support in implementing best practices and driving continuous improvement..

Design and architect highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems in cloud environments..

Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes across development, testing, and production environments..

Develop and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to provision and manage cloud resources.

Develop scripts to automate visualization..

Collaborate with multiple engineering teams' e.g., development, operations, and QA teams to streamline development workflows and improve release cycles..

Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of production infrastructure through monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions..

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud computing and drive their adoption within the organization.

Monitor and maintain production infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and security..

Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project..

Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs..

Building and implementing new development tools and infrastructure..

Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes..

Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results..

Investigate and resolve technical issues and Perform root cause analysis for production errors..

Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats..

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance..

Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure proactive identification and resolution of issues..

Must-Have Skills :

Strong experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions..

Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python/NodeJS/TypeScript..

Deep understanding of AWS (Amazon Web Services) Cloud Platform, and its services..

Proven track record in implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using aws-CDK, and CloudFormation..

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members..

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams..

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change through innovation and continuous improvement..

Expertise in Linux system administration and troubleshooting..

Expertise in networking concepts and protocols..

Good-to-Have Skills :

Experience with serverless computing technologies such as AWS Lambda or SLS..

Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments..

Knowledge of RDS/Database: NoSQL, MySQL, SQL, DynamoDB.

Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging tools..

Understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation challenges..

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies..

Certification in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)..

Familiarity with other AWS Cloud platforms Security & Governance Tools..

Knowledge of AWS Cloud Services like API Gateway, IoT Core, Greengrass..

Knowledge of Infrastructure services like LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory..

Familiarity with Governance & Security of DevOps Tools..

Experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure cost optimization strategies..

Education and Experience :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)..

8+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position..

Proven track record of successfully leading and managing DevOps teams..

Experience working in agile development environments..
