The Role:

The Head of Human Resources (HR) & Admin will oversee the HR and administration function, providing operational support, leadership, and strategic direction on HR issues while assisting in setting policies for the institution/agency. Reporting to the CEO, this role involves developing and executing a human resources strategy, contributing to the overall business strategy, and managing a team of HR & Admin professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Advise senior management on HR implications of decisions
  • Lead HR function including talent acquisition, development, succession planning
  • Work on capacity building strategy with the CEO
  • Collaborate on business goals and its implementation
  • Establish succession plans aligned with organizational objectives
  • Create recruiting and retention plans for human capital needs
  • Implement compensation and benefits plans
  • Develop operational training and people development plans
  • Create onboarding packages for new employees
  • Develop HR policies promoting staff development and gender equality
  • Ensure compliance with HR best practices and regulations
  • Implement safeguarding policies and legal guidelines
  • Oversee statutory requirements and compliances
  • Promote compliance with regulatory framework
  • Reinforce organizational values and culture
  • Encourage constructive feedback culture
  • Provide admin-related guidance and support
  • Implement Admin processes at Corporate and Project offices
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in HR management, additional qualifications in Social Sciences are an added asset
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years managing HR function, knowledge of local labor laws is essential
  • Skills: Problem-solving, interpersonal communication, cultural sensitivities, strong analytical skills, coaching, and mentoring
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Spine HRMS
  • Personal Characteristics: High integrity, ability to manage ambiguity and pressure, alignment with organizational values
