We are on the lookout for a new Associate I, Fund/Client Accounting to bolster our Fund/Client Accounting team. This role is based in Chennai, MH – HYBRID.
Here's how you can contribute in this position:
- Oversee daily accounting and net asset value (NAV) production workflow for multiple funds.
- Review data and address escalated issues during routine accounting and reporting processes.
- Supervise fund data tracking and accounting records maintenance.
- Establish and enhance data maintenance and summarization procedures to boost team efficiency.
- Set benchmarks for team's report output and collaborate with accounting teams for review and sharing.
- Cultivate client relationships, ensuring timely delivery of essential information and addressing accounting support requirements.
- Introduce process enhancements to mitigate audit and financial risks while enhancing team productivity.
- Lead a small Fund/Client Accounting team and oversee specific supervisory tasks and approvals.
- Contribute to team objectives and development.
To excel in this role, we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience.
- Several years of relevant work experience, with a background in accounting support being advantageous.
