Position overview:

As a Virtual Medical Evaluator (VMER), you will play a crucial role in providing medical expertise and evaluation services remotely.

You will assess medical information provided by patients and healthcare professionals to determine the appropriateness of medical treatment, disability claims, or insurance coverage.

Your expertise and judgment will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of medical evaluations conducted through virtual platforms.
Seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Medical Insurance Professional with expertise in medical management protocols and insurance regulations.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate medical information to diverse audiences.
Must have Medical Degree (BDS, BAHMS) from an accredited medical school.
Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ensuring all documents adheres to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Analytical mindset and problem solving attitude.
Strong understanding of medical and insurance regulations.
Proficiency in current medical management protocols.

Job Requirement

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations of patient records, diagnostic reports, and other medical documentation to assess the patient's medical condition, treatment options, and prognosis.
  • Review and analyze medical records, imaging studies, laboratory results, and other clinical data to make evidence-based recommendations and assessments.
  • Provide virtual consultations to patients, healthcareproviders, and other stakeholders to offer medical guidance, answerquestions, andaddress concerns regarding medical evaluations and treatment plans.
  • Document findings, assessments, and recommendations accurately and comprehensively in medical reports and documentation systems. Ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians,nurses, case managers, and insurance professionals, to facilitate coordinated care anddecision-making.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of medical evaluations conducted remotely. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance the quality of virtual medical evaluation services.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing medical practice and telemedicine. Always maintain confidentialityandprivacy of patient information.
