About the role

Enphase's Global Information Security organization is a collaborative team focused on protecting Enphase data and technology assets from risks and threats, internal and external. Our mission is to provide safe, secure, and resilient IT services to our stakeholders, and we are passionate about how we do that. The Global InfoSec organization provides a center of excellence for full-scope information and cyber security services to Enphase's business, operations, and engineering units.

A key part of achieving our mission is providing a modern, mature, and comprehensive security capabilities to our product and digital services organizations. Enphase's Product Security team works to ensure Enphase products and services have pre- and post-production security integrated into them. Our Product Security team must think critically, adapt to changing attack profiles, evolve processes creatively, and deliver timely services.

To achieve our Product Security goals, the InfoSec organization is looking for a Product Security Test Lead. The Product Security Test Lead will bring their passion and experience to the tasks required as part of performing security testing of products and services to ensure they meet the specified security requirements and do not create additional risk for the device, fleet, or organization. This role is responsible for the definition of engagement test strategies, engagement management, and developing testing processes to achieve desired outcomes.

What you will do

Leading and developing a team of security test engineers while maintaining a culture of excellence and accountability. Developing, maintaining, and operating suitable test strategies, methodologies, processes, tools, and standards. Continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of testing using appropriate tools and methodologies. Producing and maintaining security testing protocols for products and services. Performing tests on products and services in a timely manner to ensure they are fit for release. Interfacing and coordinating with internal and external technical resources as required to perform necessary security testing. Providing input to, and feedback on, new product and service requirements. Ensuring internal and external security requirements are considered as part of test scoping and findings remediation. Performing analysis of documented requirements and leading the design of test plans in support of security requirements for moderately complex to high complex software/hardware solutions. Developing test readiness review materials and output artifact management. Designing and documenting test cases, executing test cases, recording test case results, documenting and tracking defects, and performing test coverage analysis. Ensuring proper execution of test scripts and documentation of test results in test logs or defect tracking systems Working with development, engineering, and risk management teams to log, track and resolve findings. Analyzing test results, documenting conclusions, and making recommendations as supported by analysis.

Who you are and what you bring

Bachelor's degree (Eng./MIS/CS or related field) or equivalent demonstrated knowledge and experience. Minimum of 5 years delivering security testing and evaluation activities in a hands-on capacity. Minimum of 1 year delivering security testing services in a test management leadership role. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical topics. Experienced with developing test plans, test procedures, and test reports. Experience delivering findings to stakeholders and working with product development teams to define remediation plans. Relevant Professional Certifications (i.e., CISSP, ITIL, GSEC, CAST, CSTE, ISTQB). Experience with security testing of IoT systems. Experience with security testing of firmware. Experience with developing Test and Evaluation Master Plans. Experience with Test Management and Ticketing tools. Experience working on large, full life-cycle development projects. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams to support test execution. Able to deliver quality results in a high-energy/high-pressure environment. Ability to multi-task and manage demands of many projects, issues, and tasks.
