Azure Data Architect


We are recruiting for a strong Azure Data Architect to join our exciting Hyderabad office as we continue to grow.


  • Partners with other solution architects to assess solution alignment to the overall architectural blueprint and drive proposal writing, solution direction, pricing and costing
  • Hands on experience with data modelling.
  • Owns Solution Development as liaison between Sales and Delivery teams. Serve as technical liaison between Sales team, Clients, Delivery & support teams up to and including Contract negotiations
  • Have experience of designing architecture for data focused Microsoft Azure projects
  • Take all requirements into account when creating a proposal
  • Understanding and evaluating the organisational impact of new technologies and digital services
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
  • Act as the SME within the Data Engineering team for Azure projects.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years within an Azure or SQL Data Engineering environment
  • Engineering and database skills in SQL Server and/or Azure (Data Factory, Synapse) and the associated ETL technologies.
  • Experience developing, driving & maintaining Data Integration Roadmaps and best practices.
  • Hands on experience within Data Modelling.
  • Overall responsibility of all technical business requirements gathering deliverables and implementation.
  • Ability to deliver high to lowlevel designs for Data Solutions and have a good understanding of the full data lifecycle.
  • Handson experience in designing and developing scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Python, Pyspark etc.
  • Handson experience designing and developing stored procedures/functions and leveraging ETL packages/workflows
  • Expertise in Cloud related Big Data integration and infrastructure tech stack using Azure Databricks & Apache Spark framework
  • Wellversed with scripting languages such as Python
  • Experience of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
  • Experience of working in an agile environment and selfmanaging teams.
  • Understanding and practical knowledge of testing techniques and tools
