JDE Senior Analyst

Company Overview: The company is heavily dependent on the JDE ERP system, which serves as a common platform used across the organization. The JDE Senior Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing this critical system to drive operational excellence and support future growth.

Role Overview:

  • Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and validating business needs to define system requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and the development team to prioritize user requirements.
  • Maintain documentation such as Business Requirements Document, Process Flows, and Interface designs.
  • Create testing cases to ensure alignment with defined requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement based on best practices and technology trends.

Solution Architecture and Design:

  • Own functions related to Manufacturing & Supply Chain within the JDE system.
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish a technical vision.
  • Analyze trade-offs between usability and technical performance.
  • Recommend proposed solutions adhering to security policies.

Solution Delivery, Testing and Training:

  • Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, taking ownership of ERP projects.
  • Coordinate and test system modifications.
  • Provide training on new system features to IT and business users.
  • Ensure system documentation is up to date.
  • Act as the 3rd line of defense for JDE-related user issues.

Best Practice and Compliance:

  • Ensure IT activities comply with regulations and best practices.
  • Stay updated on IT trends and developments.
  • Handle data securely and according to guidelines.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced understanding of business analysis processes and methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Visio and JIRA.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • In-depth testing frameworks and tools understanding.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in a global technical environment.
  • IT Skills: 10+ years of JDE E1 experience.
  • Language Skills: Verbal and written fluency in English.
  • Traveling required: Occasional travel to company sites as needed.
