Role Overview:

The Legal Head will be responsible for overseeing all legal affairs of the company, with a focus on contract management and non-litigation matters.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong legal acumen to support and guide the business operations while ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, lease agreements, franchise agreements, and partnership contracts.

Ensure all contracts are in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Manage the contract lifecycle from negotiation to execution and renewal.

Compliance and Risk Management:
Develop and implement legal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic advice to mitigate them.
Conduct regular legal audits to ensure the company's operations are in compliance with legal standards.

Non-Litigation Matters:
Provide legal advice on various non-litigation matters, including employment law, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
Handle legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

Advisory Role:
Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing strategic legal advice to support business decisions.

Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the business and provide timely updates to the management.

Team Management:
Lead and manage the legal team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Foster a collaborative and proactive legal culture within the team.

Qualifications and Skills:
LLB/LLM from a reputed law school.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or related industry.
Extensive experience in contract management and non-litigation matters.
Strong understanding of corporate law, employment law, and compliance requirements.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
