As a Game Artist at BetBlack, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning 3D models and designing intuitive 2D user interfaces that enhance our games.

You will collaborate with our design and development teams to bring our game concepts to life, ensuring a seamless and engaging player experience.

We are now seeking a Senior 2D Artist specializing in HUD, UI design and game assets to elevate our games to the next level.


Job Description:
The Senior 2D Artist will play a crucial role in the visual development of our game interfaces. This position requires a deep understanding of HUD/UI design, proficiency in Unity 3D, and expertise in Spine 2D animation.

The successful candidate will lead the design process, mentor junior artists, and ensure the highest quality of visual elements across our projects.


Responsibilities:
Lead the creation of high-quality 2D assets for HUD and UI elements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive visual and interactive design.
Implement and animate UI elements using Unity 3D and Spine 2D.
Design and create sprite sheet animations for various game elements.
Develop and integrate particle effects to enhance the visual appeal of the game.
Maintain a consistent visual style for game interfaces.
Mentor junior artists and guide best practices and techniques.
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and play-testing results.
Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to drive innovation in UI design.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience as a 2D artist in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio demonstrating HUD/UI designs, sprite sheet animations, and particle effects.

Expertise in Unity 3D, Spine 2D, and other relevant design and animation tools.
Strong understanding of UX principles and game design fundamentals.
Excellent illustration, graphic design, and animation skills.
Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Effective communication and project management skills.

Preferred

Qualifications:
Experience with additional animation and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Sketch).
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., C#) to enhance and customize UI functionality.
Experience working on AAA game titles or large-scale projects.
