This is an outstanding opportunity to make a high impact contribution to a growing company on the cutting edge of cloud internet security.

This role will require a high degree of self-sufficiency, organizational skills, curiosity about emerging technology, proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving, and the ability to work in a quick-paced and busy environment.

This attorney will be a part of a small, supportive, fun, and friendly team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and track corporate governance and corporate secretarial functions for all international entities in the Zscaler group
  • Support international upkeep, registration, and management of international subsidiaries and manage a repository of all associated records and documents
  • Assist in the preparation of board and committee, and director materials for international entities
  • Help with mergers and acquisitions, investments and other strategic transactions in various stages, from performing due diligence, and supporting closing transactions to assisting postclosing integration
  • Work collaboratively across the organization, including cross functionally with members in the finance, tax and accounting teams
  • Help with other special corporate projects

Qualifications:

  • LLB or equivalent law degree from a nationally recognized university
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • 57 years of related experience at a top law firm or inhouse legal department, specifically in corporate governance or as a corporate generalist, with M&A or capital markets experience a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working as part of a global team and keen to interact with diverse groups of people spanning a broad range of business teams worldwide
  • Experience with ethics and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, globally a plus
  • License to practice law either in India or another jurisdiction preferred.
  • Excellent judgment, communication (verbal and written), organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple groups and functions
  • A selfstarter who operates independently in a fastpaced, global environment
  • High attention to detail
