SSCBP Order HandlingAt Vestas, Service SIOP (Sales, Inventory Operations Planning) we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, and at the same time have an optimized supply chain with low inventory and efficient setup.

It is an ever-developing task in a fast-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesShould have hands on experience in a global supply chain function ideally within the forecast and planning area of a distribution network.

Support demand planning process through Forecast validation, Market intelligence validation, Kanban Calculation and set upPreparation of supplier forecast and monitoring the consumptionSupport supplier performance measurement and improvementSupport supplier contract implementationPreparation and maintenance of the control towerConduct RCA for stockout, OTTR and take mitigation actionsSupport project in Demand, supply, Inventory balancing process and S&OP MeetingsSupport and provide inputs to deliver defective returnsEvaluating the Kanban, forecast, mitigating the stock out risks, Root cause analysis on the on-time delivery misses, Collaboration with various global stakeholders etcQualificationsPreferably graduate/post-graduate in any stream having experience in Demand -supply planning and BalancingAbove 5 years of experience from a global international supply chain function within production, Material planning and spare parts /service environmentHands-on experience in applying supply chain principles and methods including reportingSolid experience in inventory planning primarily in a global distribution networkSupply chain certifications (eg: APICS-CPIM , CSCP) preferred but not mandatoryHands-on experience in SAPCompetenciesGood knowledge in SAP (MM module specifically), MS Excel.

Ability to understand the Master data parameters and its implications on the planning sideSystematic approach towards problem solving (8D, Fishbone etc)Basic statistics knowledgeAbility to understand the complex supply chain network and its intricaciesAbility to work on Ambiguity to provide clarity and sail through the murky waterWhat We offerWe offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at an established producer of wind turbines.
