Role Description

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Microsoft 365 (M365) Solution Developer with 4 to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage a wide-ranging skill set across SharePoint, Azure, and other M365 platforms to design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions that meet our clients' business objectives. This role involves working with cutting-edge Microsoft technologies to create user-centric and scalable applications, integrating various M365 services, and ensuring exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Development:

  • Design and develop comprehensive solutions that utilize the full potential of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Azure services, Power Platform, and other M365 components.
  • Implement custom SharePoint web parts and extensions using SPFx and integrate these with backend services and third-party systems.
  • Create scalable and secure cloud-native applications using Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate and develop user-friendly Power Apps.

Integration:

  • Seamlessly integrate SharePoint and Azure applications with other enterprise systems and third-party services.
  • Leverage Graph APIs to access various Microsoft 365 resources and enable efficient data exchange.
  • Implement robust data connectivity solutions that align with security and compliance best practices.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to data protection regulations and best practices while implementing security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Conduct comprehensive security assessments and audits across M365 solutions.

DevOps and Deployment:

  • Champion DevOps best practices by automating deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Participate in version control using Git or other systems to manage source code and collaborate effectively with development teams.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of solutions within SharePoint and Azure environments, ensuring smooth operation.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure solution reliability and functionality.
  • Maintain high code quality through comprehensive testing and debugging practices.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, project managers, and DevOps engineers to deliver solutions within scope and on time.
  • Communicate solution designs, technical concepts, and development progress effectively to stakeholders.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain thorough documentation throughout the development lifecycle, including design rationale, code documentation, and user guides.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Set up monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights to proactively identify and address bottlenecks.
  • Optimize solutions to deliver a seamless user experience and maintain peak efficiency.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated on the latest Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure trends and features.
  • Actively contribute to process improvements and innovative solution enhancements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SharePoint, Azure, and other Microsoft 365 platform development.
  • Proficiency in SPFx, C#, ASP.NET Core, TypeScript, and related web technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure App Service.
  • Experience with Power Platform components including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of security and compliance standards within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in agile development methodologies is advantageous.
