What

You Will Do:

The Lead Engineer - Contact Center (Genesys Cloud) is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing software solutions for the system.

You will research emerging technologies and provide guidance to lower level associates within the team while ensuring key commitments and milestones are delivered on time:

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of Contact Center solutions using Genesys Cloud technologyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Contact Center projectsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineersStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve Contact Center solutionsContribute to the design and architecture of Contact Center solutions to ensure scalability and reliabilityParticipate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practicesDesign and develop highly complex software solutions for the Contact Center using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturerEvaluate available options and implement the best course of action to ensure deliverables are on time and within budgetResearch emerging technologies and become a subject matter expert in the area of Contact Center engineeringDevelop project plans and schedules to ensure deliverables are on time and within budgetIdentify and manage internal and external resources to support assigned projectsProvide guidance and oversight to contract employees for day-to-day assignmentsInterface with suppliers and vendors to make recommendations on hardware/softwareProvide coaching and guidance to lower level associates within the teamAct as a key liaison with internal and external business partners to ensure that key commitments and milestones are delivered on timeLead and mentor multidisciplinary teams across business

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:6-8 years of experience in Contact Center engineeringBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fieldStrong understanding of Genesys Cloud architecture and functionalityExperience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Expertise in Genesys Cloud and related technologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in designing and developing highly complex software solutionsStrong project management skills to ensure deliverables are on time and within budgetExcellent communication and negotiation skills to achieve business strategyAbility to provide technical consultation and leadership to multidisciplinary teamsExperience in coaching and guiding lower level associates within the teamAbility to identify and manage internal and external resources to support assigned projects
