Role and Responsibilities
  • Managing the maintenance of fixed assets, such as asset registration, disposals, acquisitions, transfers, etc., for various entities within the group.
  • Preparing and updating the fixed asset register, analyzing reports related to fixed assets, including depreciation schedules, capital expenditure forecasts, variance analyses, etc.
  • Conducting account reconciliations and swiftly resolving any discrepancies.
  • Generating ad-hoc reports as per business requirements provided by stakeholders and addressing immediate queries from the onsite team.
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal controls concerning Fixed Assets.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation by promptly updating process documents for all fixed asset-related tasks.
  • Collaborating with both internal and external auditors during audits, furnishing necessary documentation and clarifications on fixed asset transactions and controls.
  • Identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in processes.
  • Serving as an individual contributor, taking charge of fixed assets accounting processes, and delivering high-quality results autonomously.
Eligibility to Apply
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years in General Ledger / Fixed Asset Accounting.
  • Education: Graduate in Commerce (preferred)/ Qualified / Semi qualified ACA/ACCA/CMA/CIMA or MBA (Finance).
  • Rigorous attention to details, professional attitude, reliable nature.
  • Ability to work within deadlines and exceptional prioritization skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, conflict resolution abilities, and decision-making prowess.
  • Strong work ethics, well-organized, and self-starter.
