SportsKeedais seeking a Content Manager for the Daily Soaps who is wellversedin the US & UK Daily soap niche. The applicant should bewell acquainted with all shows that air in the regions and mustunderstand the audienceinterests.


Theapplicant will be expected to follow all shows ongoing &upcoming manage a monthly content calendar formulate and executecontent strategies to scale the respective section & trackand manage responsible POCs to ensure streamlined operations on adayto day basis.

As the Content manager for Daily Soaps you will beresponsible for the endtoend execution of all things content (web)in the Soapsvertical.

Thecandidate must have a solid understanding of general SEO Googletrends and their application in web content. They must also have adetailed understanding of general narratives in mainstream TV showsfilms.

What is expected ofyou

Youunderstand Daily Soaps. You closely follow the 4 primary shows inthe US namely GH B&B Y&R and DOOL. You also have asolid understanding of UKSoaps

You vea concise understanding of what the audience of all the mainstreamshows wants to read about and see. You have a knack for creatingcontent and turning your wildest ideas into articulate copies forthe world to see.

Alongside your understanding of the content youalso know how to apply SEO (Search engine optimization) to ensurethe content you produce reaches the right audience and is a treatin the eyes of google algorithm.

You must be good with people andhave good communication skills in order to appropriatelycommunicate your thoughts and ideas to the team.

KeyResponsibilities:
Devise the Content strategy for theDaily Soap section

Work closely with stakeholders (TechSEO and Content teams) to plan and grow thevertical.


Planning day to day operation andteam structure in a strategic manner while keeping monthlyquarterly and yearly growth targets in mind.

Completely own P&L andgrowth responsibilities for thesection.

Work closely with the Senior ContentManager with regards to R&D developing datadriven insightscarrying analysis across various levels implementing solutionsetc.

Manage Content Specialists AssistantManagers and Writers on a dailybasis.

Conduct regular analysis and auditof the Daily Soap content on thewebsite.

Work towards creating qualitativeprocesses to upscale Sportskeedasbrand.

Work and deliver on the content planthrough the team of writers under yoursupervision

Helping create datadriven dashboardsto analyze content traffic sources and potentialgrowth

Continuously track businessperformance setting it up for growth and coursecorrecting whenevernecessary.

Build a robust content stream thatensures round the clock coverage and timely newscoverage.

Requirements

24 years of experience inmanaging content verticals specifically mainstream dailysoaps

Understanding/Working knowledge of SEODigital Marketing Text Content Business andAnalytics

Efficiency with using social media anddeveloping processes to streamline daily scouting and trackingoperations.

Growth Mindset Business acumen and Analyticalskills

Energy and passion to create the mostengaging content for consumers

Understanding of trending stories feeds andan eye for detail for a goodstory.

Passionate about Daily soap & itsecosystem

Ability to help create original content on aregular basis


2-4 years of experience in managingcontent verticals, specifically mainstream daily soapsUnderstanding/Working knowledge of SEO, Digital Marketing, TextContent Business and Analytics Efficiency with using social mediaand developing processes to streamline daily scouting and trackingoperations Growth Mindset, Business acumen, and Analytical skillsEnergy and passion to create the most engaging content forconsumers Understanding of trending stories, feeds, and an eye fordetail for a good story.
